Recently, the weather has been very varied and partly challenging. Cold and windy weather have made it difficult to get out of the fjord. But when it has been good weather and the guests have reached the spots outside the fjord, the fishing has been good.
The fishing for halibut have been promissing and our guest have found them on the plateaus outside the fjord. The first big coalfish over 10kg have been caught in the recent days. The fishing for wolffish has also been good, also in the fjord. Even if its early in the season there has been caught unusual amounts of haddock.
A lot of medium-sized cod are caught daily, but the largest ones have been missing and will be easier to find when the concentrations of small coalfish show up around the peaks.
