Summer is here
The summer has not found its way up to Northern Norway yet, but we have almost become used to constant wind and rain. Even the locals can not remember that there has been so much bad and cold weather in June … But despite this, there have been a few days without wind and rain, and then fishing has been quite good. We hope that July will be the month of sun and warmth. And if that’s not the case, you’re still welcome to come up here to cool off from the heat in Europe!
What are we catching?
Cod fishing is quite good if you know where to look and there seems to be a mixed size of the fish in most places. There has also been a lot of nice size Coalfish (on spinning equipment!) and halibut fishing is probably the only fishing that has been stable throughout the season and is only expected to get better the more time goes by.
