Congratulations Active Tromsø!

Our neighbour and partner Tore Albrigtsen (Active Tromsø) just took part in the two longest sled dog races in the world: the Yukon Quest (1000 miles from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Whitehorse, Yukon) and the Iditarod (1000 miles from Anchorage to Nome in Alaska).

Tore and his well-trained dogs took 11 days, 19 hours and 2 minutes to finish the Yukon Quest and, after only a few weeks of rest in between, the team needed 10 days, 11 hours and 5 minutes to cross the Iditarod finish line.

The Norwegian man, who recently turned 49 and is obviously far from being a beginner, had to face harsh weather conditions during his quite long period in North America. These races are indeed particularly known for their high level of difficulty.

We therefore would like to congratulate him, as well as his dogs and colleagues, for this truly inspirational adventure in the Arctic.

Bra jobba!
