Although we have had a few sunny days in July, warm summer temperatures has been long in coming this year in Northern Norway. Fortunately, the weather started to improve in mid August and we finally had the opportunity to spend some quality time outside.

In addition to fishing in the sea, hiking in the mountains, sightseeing in town and sunbathing on the terrace, many of our guests also made the most out of their outdoor barbecue grills. The air was filled with the smell of summer and the mood was simply excellent here at Lauklines.

Of course, such wonderful moments had to be captured and the result was rather impressive as puffins, whales, seals and sea eagles were also spotted in the last couple of days.

In the meanwhile, several fish species were caught too.
