From 1 January 2018, new rules apply to how much fish can be taken from Norway as a recreational fisher.
You are allowed to bring 10 kg of fish or fish products upon leaving Norway. If you have been fishing from a registered fishing camp, you can take up to 20 kg of fish or fish products upon leaving.
Note that you have to wait for seven days before you can take a new export quota out of the country. You can no longer export trophy fish in addition to the quota.
